I am moving from one gym to another, the one I'm at now is only a temp position but decided to find a permanent job because I do have bills, etc to pay so need the comfort of knowing I'm going to be bringing in a salary.
I have written out a resignation letter, but what do I say when handing it over?

Boss,
Here is my letter of resignation. I plan to remain on for the next two weeks.
Thank you.
That's what I've always done. In the letter, it's the usual "Thank you for the oppurtunity", my last day will be on .....0 -
If its a temp job (I read contract here with a fixed end date) you don't even need a letter, you should have a good relationship and be able to say you found something more permanent but you thank them for the opportunity they gave. Nothing more, nothing less.0

Haha you just say thanks, but this is my two weeks.0 -
"Please consider this letter my formal 2 weeks notice. I've enjoyed working here, but I needed something full-time and permanent".0

"Suggit". Unless you may ever want to work there again.0

"Thank you for the opportunity to be employed here. The generosity of ____your current gym here___ has enabled me to move forward with my career. This is a formal written notice of my resignation, and I appreciate your support."
Most importantly, don't forget to thank your employer for employing you - no matter how evil or abusive they may be.0 -
I would just say. "I have enjoyed working for (company A) but I have decided to seek employment that would fit my needs better. I want to thank you for the opportunity you have provided me during my time here. This is my letter of resignation.
Simple clean direct and polite.0
