More friends means more food ideas

Hello everyone. I've been on MFP for just a week and really like what I see here. My plan is to move away from processed foods, add tons more fresh fruits and veggies. I'm trying to eat more fish and chicken than lean steak. When I eating carbs, I'm choosing only whole grains when possible. Also adding in some of those good fats ie. olives, avocados, nuts, etc.
I'm looking for friends who are on the same track and want to share food ideas/recipes. Variety is the spice of life, right?

I have just started MFP too but I have been working on the diet change for a couple of months now, so I am getting better at it. I have been doing pretty much the same thing. I have moved away from white breads, pastas and rice. I eat almost exclusively whole grains now (I slip up now and then). I have just ventured into eating fish. I have HATED seafood my whole life but have recently forced myself to eat it and now I have learned to love haddock and flounder, and am starting to like salmon. I have steered away from processed foods and try to only buy organic and my fish is always wild caught (something I learned from my Norwegian grandmother lol). Feel free to add me!0
