I'd like to get some information on the Body For Life 12 week challenge from people who have completed it. Is there a fee included? What were your thoughts and results? Thanks!

It works well for me. Both the food approach and the workout routines. It is really important to mix up your workouts so you can avoid the plateaus. Between Body for Life, MFP and my Polar FT80 heart rate monitor life is good!0

Waskier, thanks for replying! Did you start body for life on your own or did you register for the 12 week challenge?0

I did Body for Life a while back and loved it. I just did it on my own because I didn't want to be forced to use EAS products. I had great results. Although, beware, it is not about counting calories, and many people gain weight during their 12 weeks because they are replacing fat for muscle. I lost about 15 lbs over the 12 weeks and felt as good as I had in a long time. It is very hard to maintain afterwards, however. I had been running for a year before BFL and had a 3.5 mile loop that would take me 32 minutes. I stopped running it when I was doing BFL. I ran it once 10 weeks into BFL and ran it in 26 min! The Pros for me were increased muscle, a free day to maintain sanity, and a sensible eating plan. I'm starting another 12 weeks this week but am mixing in MFP to keep track of the stats.0

I have been doing Body For as my "go to" routine for the last 15 years. I have never registered, but have following all of there suggestions, from the workout routine to the diet.
Each time I have started the BFL program I end up losing 3lbs a week for the first 2 months, then 2lbs a week after that. I have never made it past 4 months because I am horrible at staying on the routine when things get hectic in my life. I have been from 220lbs after high school to 263, down to 195, up to 277, down to 235, up to 288, down to 259, up to 278, and now I'm on my latest downward slope at 255lbs.
I highly recommend the BFL system. Just go on their website and read all the information they have. You can get records on your computer or print out their forms.
I think the biggest lesson I learned from it was to perform your cardio first thing in the morning because your glucose levels are so low that your body burns mostly fat for energy during and after your cardio. I wake up and drink 10oz of water, then wait 15 minutes and ride the bike for 20 minutes. YES, 20 minutes of cardio is all it takes as long as you follow the interval system they use and make sure you really kill yourself on that final Level 10 (minute 19 of the cardio).
The only supplement I take is Walmart's Body Fortress Whey protein powder. Everything else I just regular healthy food.0
