Iphone app question

I MIGHT start running soon and I was wondering how much of my Data plan will one of the running apps use? I only have 200MB a month.

    go buy a garmin edge 500 instead.

    Those are $200+ if I had that to play with I wouldn't worry about going over my minutes..lol

    Hmmm...I've got unlimited so I don't know! My suggestion would be to try it and check online the next day. At least with Verizon you can easily see the data session.

    I used 18 MB yesterday. I use my phone sporadically while at work. After work, used a GPS app for 62 minutes. Then, was on my phone playing games for at least 3 or 4 hours last night! But I can't tell what amount of that 18 MB was only from my bike ride. I suspect it was maybe 1/4 to 1/2 of the total.
