how active should I outoud I put on my settings?

I go on the treadmill for 30 minutes and 3.5 mph 5 times a week. How active is that considered?

otherwise I usually sit around all day

    Choose the lowest setting. Your workouts should be separate.

    I put myself in as sedentary and then I log my calories burned from exercise each time. In my case, it's the only way that makes sense since my exercise is highly variable dependent on a bunch of factors.

    I guess "Lightly Active" and try to eat back a proportion of your exercise calories or "sendentary" if you really don't do anything much but make sure you eat back the calories to avoid going too low.

    Your activity level should be sedentary. MFP wants to know how active you are NOT including working out.
