Hi, I'm new to fitness pal, and have lost 6 lbs so far...yipee...I have a question...does drinking more water help u to loose weight faster?

    Welcome newbie! and congratulations on losing 6 lbs so far, that's awesome!!!!! Drinking water doesn't necessarily help you lose weight faster but it helps you flush toxins out of your system, which helps to promote weight loss. Drinking at least 8 btls of water daily really will make an impact on how you feel and you'll see the weight come off more consistently. Diet soda can be a good filler especially if you're feeling hungry but don't drink too much of it because the artificial sweetners aren't good for you. I would say no more than 1-2 cans per day. Lots of water is the ticket! Good luck and stay motivated.
