Think I might need to find another one
How Much Should I Take?
The study found that 3.4 grams of CLA was needed in order to get the benefits. That's 3,400 mg. Since the various formulas contain a percentage of other oils as ingredients, it's wise to probably calculate how much each pill is delivering to make sure you're getting the full 3.4 grams a day. For example, if your capsule contains 75% CLA, and it's 1000 mg, then you're getting 750 mg of CLA, and would need 5 per day to get to the 3.4 grams level.
Those ones I posted are only 700mg CLA0 -
Maybe these ones
• High Potency
• 1000 mg of Active CLA per Softgel
• Dietary Supplement
• MRM’s High Potency CLA, when combined with regular exercise, helps maintain lean muscle development while burning calories. CLA occurs naturally in vegetables, milk, and beef, but not at levels high enough to receive optimal benefit. MRM’s CLA contains a minimum of 1000 mg of the active isomers per softgel to support your desired body composition. Lean Muscle maintenance helps maximize fat burning as the body chooses calories to keep metabolism function properly. Sustaining high metabolic activity allows dieters to feel strong and healthy during times of caloric restriction.
Suggested Use
Take 1-2 softgels 3 times daily with meal

If you are gonna take it, use Tonalin CLA, it's the purest form of CLA.
I have taken it for a while, haven't noticed any ill (or useful) effect. Once this bottle runs out, I'm dunzo.
Some people have good results from it...I just don't know any of them.0 -
stolen from my post from this other thread
http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/704257-cla
it's been shown to be pretty effective in rodents, but i haven't seen much to support it's use with humans, infact human studies show a few unwanted side affects most notably increasing insulin resistance,
The benefits will not merit the cost IMO.
see post no. 4.

none of these studies show any positive effects on body composition either,
Most people would be better of supplementing with Omega 3 instead, which most of us do not get enough of.0
