Why do people hate a celebrity so much where they post videos and make comments about how much they hate that person? To me it is a waste of time and so ridiculous. I have no clue who half of these entertainers are today and I guess it is because I am not as young as I once was. My priorities have changed from gossip to politics and things that I consider more important. That is the end of my rant, but my question is, why do people hate some celebrities that they have never met? For example, Kim Kardashian is a reality star whose show I don't watch and what little I have seen of her show, it is boring. I have no issue with her because I don't care. I think we live in a culture that is too celebrity obsessed. Common sense seems to be thrown out of window. If you don't like Kim K., don't watch her reality show, don't buy her products, just ignore her. She must not be too hated, she is still making money and her reality show is still on the air. I don't understand the mindset of some people. I don't mean this to be rude, but whatever happened to doing what is simple? If you don't like the show, don't watch it. If you don't like the actor, don't complain about them, don't watch the movie. Is it that hard? Am I being too "old" or "set in my ways"?

    I see people rant and rave about those types everyday. Personally, I'm a 33 yr old mother of two. How the eff do I have time to care about what somebody on TV with much more resources does with their life?
    It honest to goodness doesn't affect me.

    Do I really care for their kind, no. Do I ever hope to run into them, no. Do I hope and pray I do a good enough job as a parent I never have to hear about these people in ten years, yes.

    Unless they start posting about Dora, Kai-Lan, Bubble Guppies, etc. I probably haven't heard much about them. I really can't get too into what people I have never met whose primary job is to entertain other people are doing.

    I'm 27 and childless (so I don't know any of the stars kids love these days) and I don't have television (so I don't know any of the stars people in general love these days) . I skip all the gossip threads because I just have no idea what they are talking about. And let me tell you, ignorance is bliss, baby!
