I'm doing a 5K this saturday. The warrior Dash next month with a 5K the next day becuase it ends in a Celtic Festival and we get Kilts (aren't those scottish) and a beer and apparently I can be had for the price of a beer.
One more 5k in october and then probably not a lot of outside running until the spring as it gets snowy up here.
I would just like to be of normal weight for a BIG next. Maybe by halloween....0 -
Awesome sauce... and check out that Bicep!0

Thanks! That was a mixture of "I did it", "Holy Shyte I'm on THE FIELD", and "Oh thank heaven, where can I lie down?"
That was my first 10K, it was almost 90 degrees out and up until that point the longest I had ran off a tread mill was 2 miles.0 -

It was a blast. Can't wait until next year to do it again. This year it was my first 10k and I had to sprinkle in some walking to make it the whole distance. I'm up to over 4 miles without having to walk or stop. I will be more than ready. I might be able to force myself to it now, but I'd rather have it be an effort and not torture.0
