Felt sick during workout

Options
So yesterday I was doing my normal workout, which is cross trainer, rower, HIIT on treadmill then a variety of resistance machines.

I've been doing this for about 3 weeks, no qualms.

Expect for yesterday, as I was in my second machine I started to feel sick, like a nausea feeling that I wanted to vomit.

Why is this, and is there anyway to stop it because I don't want it to continue and ruin my progress.

If it helps, what I ate that day, woke up at around 12, eat porridge, gym at 2.

So yeah, any ideas what it could be? Hopefully it's just an anomaly,

Could be lots of things: not enough food, not enough water, medication without enough food... all of those things have made me sick while working out hard.

Might be the water thing, usually before my workout, while I'm on my way to the gym I'd have about 300ml of water, although I didn't yesterday.

    could be:

-too much food in your stomach
    -hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)
-volume depleted (need to drink more water)
    -hyponatremia (low salt)

edit: just realized you got up at 12 . . . out late drinking the night before?

I'll go with low blood sugar considering I hadn't eat much before and water.

Also no drinking, just go to sleep late and wake up late ... I'm an nocturnal creature ;)
