  • I have a real problem with electric scales! I never really trust them because I can weigh myself and then get off and back on again, and my weight can go up by like 5 lbs in the space of 10 seconds! I think they are really sensitive sometimes so I find the old scales are the best!
  • I have an Escali digital.

I use the aria made by fitbit. I like it because they sync with each other. I had many of scales to disappoint me though (like Biggest loser Taylor) and I want something to figure my fat percentage.

I use this one - Satler 9108. I find it very accurate and easy to use the additional boy composition info it gives is pretty much inline with MFP. I recommend it.

I HATE all scales. I started out using the old dial one..but moving it around and even making sure it was on zero I came up with a different number everywhere I put it. Then I got a digital and it was quanky too..so I returned it and got another digital. I use it in the SAME place every time I weigh and had to adjust my weigh ins on here to adjust for what it says. I have no clue what I really weigh..I just have to go by how my clothes are fitting and then try to figure out how that corresponds with the digital scale.

Taylor, from Wal-Mart a few years ago. You have to program in your age, height, gender, and if you're an athlete or normal person. It has metal foot marks you have to step on with wet feet while wearing no metal jewelry. It measures body fat and hydration levels.

I just ordered the aria by fitbit. It has gotten very good reviews and syncs wirelessly with fitbit.

I also use the fitbit ultra pedometer. It works great!

I use the eatsmart precision. Its inexpensive and has been very consistent. I have one at my house and one at my moms (for when we visit). Love them!

And it comes with a really cool measuring tape that I use a lot now.

I use my Wii board and Fit Plus because it's what I have. It matches my Dr.'s scale so I'm happy.
  • This is my scale. I'm pretty happy with it:

    http://www.walmart.com/ip/Taylor-7519-Ultra-Thick-Glass-Digital-Scale/11089592

It sometimes gives an "error" the first time I step on, but then works the second time.

It's been accurate, as far as I know, and I got it on sale for $20.

I have one from walmart that is digital and the biggest difference is about .2 :) It works great. IT will also store up to 4 weights if you so choose. I thought that would be useful, however turns out it is not like I can't remember from one weigh in to the next, plus the kids mess with it often, (you gained 120 pounds today! after my 4 year old steps on it.)

I was using my Wii balance board, but found it to be under-weighing by a LOT.

Eat Smart Digital Bathroom Scale ($29.95) Guaranteed to be 100% accurate. Doesn't matter where in the bathroom it is, or how many times you step on and off it, it reads the same.

Mine is by Thinner and I love it. It seems to be pretty accurate. We use it to weigh our cats a lot and it always says the same as the vet. (My husband and I don't go to the doctor, so we never get weighed by doctors' scales).

My scale is similar to this one but clear instead of black:

Use a digital scale from Walmart that matches exactly what the doctors office scale reads. It runs approx $35 and we have had it for 1 yr. 8 mo. Can read and save up to 4 different people while saving your weight each time you want it too. It will keep track of your weight loss and other things like body fat, water, and bone mass. Also will weight up to 400lbs and has a wide base. It
    is called the HEALTH-O-METER

FYI ON ELECTRONIC SCALES - do not leave in the bathroom, keep it in a room with no moisture

for food to measure meat, ect. I use the little electronic postal scale. It measures up to 3lbs in ounces and kg.
