I'm... newish to this. I've been doing it for about a month now with a few friends and now my mom. I've been finding it a sturggle (Breaaad ... give me breaaaad!) but I have lost 6 pounds so far which I'm really happy about. It's really hard for me to lose weight - it's something that runs in my family. I even had a period where I was dieting and excersizing in a gym 3-4 nights a week and wasn't losing any weight. This time around I've decided that I'm going to focus on my eating habits more than anything. I work long hours and trying to find time to go to a gym ends up being a major stress factor for me so I think letting go of that stress and working out or going on walks when I'm able to is really helping me out.

But anyways... I'm 24 years old and from Wisconsin and I LOVE food. Seriously... love isn't even strong enough. This is why I'm really needing to lose weight. I love cooking and baking and trying new things. I have a ranchy sense of humor and try to spend every day laughing.

I am really learning that having friends do this with me helps me a lot so if you're wanting to add someone that bitterly eats carrots while thinking of a nicely grilled steak please feel free to add me!

Thanks everyone! And I know what it feels like ti yoyo diet. This time I'm not doing any type of diet fad. Counting calories has been working really well for me because I feel more incontroll of what I eat and make in my kitchen!
