I just made them last week!

    Tilapia

    Lime (two)
    Cilantro
    6" Flour Tortillas
    Shredded Red Cabbage
    Black pepper
    Dill 1 teaspoon
    Cumin 1 teaspoon

Make Sauce: Blend 1/2 cup plain yogurt with 1/4 cup cilantro (diced fine) and 1/2 lime juiced, dill and cumin seasoning. Add black pepper and blend. Sit in fridge.

Cook Fish: Put blackened seasoning on fresh, thawed tilapia and pan sear in 1 tblspoon olive oil until thoroughly cooked.
Dice in chunks and place on tortilla. Top with sauce and red cabbage.

Serve with low-cal blue organic tortilla chips and garlic salsa.

I use Gorton's Grilled Tilapia (season it up with some Tony's or other spices) , brocolli slaw (ishreaded really fine), Hidden Valley Chipotle Ranch dressing with white corn tortillia (only one).

They are delicious and only about 125 calories each ! One piece of fish will make two tacos and - can be microwaved in five minutes.

I've got a recipe very similar to the above but

The sauce is the best part
In a blender: 1/4 cup plain fat free yogurt, 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice, 2 tbs of chopped fresh cilantro, and 3/4 tsp canned chipotle peppers in adobo sauce.

Tilapia seasoned with lime, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika.

taco fixings: shredded cabbage, or lettuce and cheese, avocado, salsa, green onion, tomato

and they are served in corn tortillas.
  • What do you mean by blackened seasoning? Do you mean the sauce? Sorry, I am an awful cook and not much of a fish eater, but I am currently trying both. Certain things are just not obvious to me when I read recipes. Its like reading a foreign language to me.

You can find blackened seasoning with your other spices. It's made by Old Bay so it should be near the shrimp, crawfish boil stuff.

    I love this one: http://www.skinnytaste.com/2012/02/cilantro-lime-tilapia-tacos.html

I don't like cilantro so I skip that but it's easy to make and very, very good!
