Hello all....I am hoping that I can shed some of my excess tonnage from 211 down to a more reasonable 160-165ish. I have been have issues with thyroid disease (first Grave's disease then Hashimoto's)...I tried the gym route by joining Total Solutions/Thin & Healthy..unfortunately, the only thing that got thin was my wallet! So here I am...know that I need to start track my food and getting my body in motion...hoping for support. I also have a difficult time eating in the morning...any hints would be helpful..I know HOW to cook healthy...I think portion control is more of my issue and self control (I have none). Hopefully, tomorrow starts a new day and a new me.?

You and I are in the exact same boat. I am also 211 lbs, aiming to lose even more than you. What can I tell you, haha? This is going to be a MARATHON not a sprint. There is no instant gratification. There is no solution but keeping at it, and when you fall off, forgive yourself and get back on! I lost 2 months feeling bad about falling off the wagon, only to find myself starting over again. Plan for your cheating. Create a reward system. Understand that the first little while will be a learning process. Don't give up and remember you are worth it.

Every journey starts with that first step, you've taken that so important first step and your journey has now begun. I'm on here for the long run with plans of losing about 140 pounds more...I have become so driven to get thinner and more healthy. I wish you the the best of luck...have a great day, Jerry0
