I'm uneven, is this normal?

I'm right handed, so I kinda thought it would be a little stronger but I feel like it's more than should b compared to my left. I can lift heavier w/ my right & my left has to strain to keep up. My right arm and shoulder is stronger. Right bicep is bigger. In my legs my right is stronger as well & has more definition. My left leg is actually slightly bigger. My friend says it's not even noticeable, but I notice.
When I'm sore, I often notice my right side is more sore. I always try really hard to work them the same. Some times I try to work my left side more so it will catch up. I was just wonder if this was normal and if it's something I should worry about.

I have the same thing. My left bicep is stronger than my right... Bigger too. Same with leg measurements.
No one has pointed and laughed yet, so I figure it's ok0 -

Hi shorty,
I believe you are obsessing about something that is completely normal and natural. Nobody is 100 percent symmetrical. I know that when researchers measure leg strength they find that even soccer players -- who sprint, sprint, sprint, using both legs equally -- are usually much stronger in one leg than they are in the other, by about 30 percent or more.
I have heard that even our faces are not exactly the same on each side.
My brother used to claim his right arm was slightly longer than his left, from years of throwing a baseball. I've looked at him pretty closely. If he is asymmetric, I cannot tell.
If you are really worried about it, lift free weights. You will naturally have to exert the same force with each limb or you will fall over; you'll even out as much as is possible.0 -
Thanks guys! I guess it is pretty natural. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't alone lol0

When I was a kid I used to skateboard: a lot!
Now, as an almost 40-year old, I still have a noticeably bigger right calf! Used to really bug me, but I'm kinda used to it now.
As for functionality for the rest of the body, do any activity that requires a symmetrical effort and you'll notice different strength, flexibility and power in different sides. Time and training will bridge the gap, but there will always be little differences no matter how hard you train, I'm afraid!
So, you're totally normal!0
