Not getting drunk to begin with is my go to strategy.
Never had one in my life.
Figured I'd get the judgmental posts over with for you in a hurry...lol0 -
Bottle of Powerade, gallons of tea, bacon, mushroom and cheese omelette, shower, back to bed for another two hours and pint of lager a hair of the dog at lunchtime.0

You're badass Berry!
Mine is coffee (lots of sugar), with M&M's chicken fingers and sweet thai chili sauce. Followed by a Lord Of The Rings marathon0 -
Coffee, fast food breakfast so I dont have to cook, or a muffin.0

As a toxicologist l guess it's my duty to remind everyone not to take Tylenol here...0

Can never sleep. Run, rubbish food, cold shower and a little sh*g if its going always helps0
-
banana, spicy sausage, eggs, a walk, another drink at lunch.0

I've only had one hangover in my life but it seemed to have been cured with McDonalds breakfast and a morning laying on the couch.0

Orange lucozade, crisps, (the ones for kids like banshee bones, wheelies or hot lips) and then a Chinese or Indian that evening. I had to kinda give up drinking cis my hangovers were lasting 3-4 days!! So now it's just birthdays, weddings etc.0

Wendy's greasy cheeseburger with fries! Works like a charm.0
-
OJ and pain reliever before I go to bed usually always keeps the hangover away.0
-
I don;t do the whole pain relief thing myself
Reckon the kidneys and liver are under enough pressure without them0 -
A hangover is little more than dehydration. Drink some water and there's your magic pill.0
-
Greasy spoon breakfast! The greasier the better.0
-
Banana and Gatorade for breakfast, then Taco Hell for lunch. That usually gets me squared away (or at least pushes things in a different direction).0
-
As soon as I wake up, drink a beer. It's the best cure if you can handle the thought of another drink.0
-
GREASE!!
A full english breakfast usually works!!!0 -

Thought I was the only one that craved TB on hangover days!0

Usually Gatorade before bed is enough to nip it in the bud.
If not, Auntie Anne's jalapeno pretzel with cheese dip.0 -

This is my problem. 24 to 48 hours written off nowadays0 -
Another shot, a Coke and a Big Mac. Terrible I know but there it is. Works for me every time the Captain and I have a go!0
-
Depends on the degree of hangover...always LOTS of water- then usually something greasy and bad for me like a burger or pizza then after I'm feeling a little better I crave something healthy, like grilled chicken and salad.0

The Captain kicks like a mule0

Oh and since I usually have to pee at some point in the early morning, I take a vitamin when I get up at that point. Might be totally mental but days I do that seems to be easier than days i don't!0

Things I do to TRY and prevent a hang over (and it usually works!)
* Eat food whilst drinking
* Drink water or soft drink/soda between drinks
* Drink HEAPS of water or better yet have some Hydralite with water before going to bed
* Eating some food before going to bed (I usually opt for a slice of toast or something easy)
* Take some panadol/ibrufen/asprin first thing in the morning with lots of water or hydralite.
I ALWAYS crave fatty & greasy food --- like McDonald's or big english breakfast!
I rarely get hang overs anymore during this method --- especially the last 3 dot points! The most I get now is a bit of a headache which doesn't stick around long! Happy and sensible drinking folks! :drinker:0 -
a berocca and a big mac.0
-
GingerBread or anything that has ginger in it. Stops me feeling sick!
Then drink lots of water!
