I've had some bad days and some good days since joining MFP and today is a really good one! 7 weeks ago I started my second fitness bootcamp (I spent the first bootcamp doing the EM2WL thing) where I was weighed and measured. First thing this morning I got my post-assessment done and I wanted to share my story/results with all of you in hopes of inspiring somebody else to keep on working hard even when the scale isn't cooperating like you think it should. Trust me I have wanted to throw in the towel more than a few times!

That being said this was my pre-assessment :(inches)

Height: 5'5
Weight: 183.4
Body Fat - 33.2%
BMI - 30.5

Neck - 14.5
Arm - 13
Chest - 40
Waist - 34
Stomach - 37
Hips - 45
Thigh - 22.5
Calf - 17

Post - Assessment :

Weight : 175.6
Body Fat % 29.4
BMI - 29.2

Neck - 13.7
Arm - 12.3
Chest - 37.5
Waist - 31.4
Stomach - 35.1
Hips - 41
Thigh- 23.2
Calf - 15.7

I haven't yet calculated the total inches lost BUT IT'S A LOT MORE THAN I WOULD HAVE EVER THOUGHT IF I WENT BY THE SCALE ALONE! 4% body fat loss...i'll take it!:drinker:

thats great!! You are loosing inches where they count! Possibly gaining them where they count too (biceps). Keep up the great work!!

Wooohoooo!!!! I am so glad you got some awesome news! I'll take inches lost over pounds any day:-) And if my math is fairly accurate without a calculator or coffee then it looks like you lost about 12-13 inches! That's AMAZING!! So happy for you:-)

Thank you for sharing!!! Great work!
  • Thanks everybody :) There are so many contributing factors but i'm pretty sure without the MFP forums and support it would have been an even more difficult journey. I can't wait to post my next results in another 8 weeks!
