Hey there, I'm Mike. I joined MFP yesterday. Just looking for some local support. I went through lapband surgery in 2010. I've lost 110 lbs so far and have another 30 to go. I don't want to slip so really could use local folks for mutual support. I promise I'm friendly so feel free to say hi.

    Aaah Florida! We JUST moved from Bushnell, Florida.. Back to our nowhere home town in North Carolina.
    I miss it so much! We lived in Davenport, Bushnell, and Wildwood the few years we were there.

    I'm glad to hear of your surgical success. I had thought of it myself, but, my brother had the sleeve surgery last year, and he hasn't lost an ounce. He went to the trouble of getting the surgery, but never cut back on his eating. It breaks my heart to see it.
