Well, I certainly lost a good amount of weight this week - 2.8 kg (6.2 lb).
This brings my total weight loss to 17.6 kg (38.7 lb).
The weight loss is not just a one-day fluctuation either. I lost weight throughout the week:
Sat -0.2 kg
Sun +0.2 kg
Mon -0.6 kg
Tue -1.8 kg
Wed no change
Thu +0.2 kg
Fri -0.6 kg
I think the reason I lost so much weight is:
(1) Stress from losing Hao (my pet Java Sparrow) and dealing with his illness.
(2) I've had a cold since the 7th, and haven't really had much of an appetite. I've been trying to keep my caloric intake up, but have been eating less - some days less than 1,000 calories.
All in all it's been a pretty awful Bon holiday week here.
I haven't done any aerobic exercises to speak of this week. My strength is at a low ebb, and I don't really have the strength to go cycling. On the other hand, I did more walking than usual, going back and forth to the vets, picking up Hao's urn at the temple, going to the hospital, etc. Maybe that made up for the lack of cycling.
I also forced myself to do the resistance training every day, and in the mornings do some jogging in place.

Thanks, Danilee. As far as being ill, it must be just a summer cold.

Sorry about your loss. I recently lost a pet cat of almost 15 years.
Even though you have a loss of appetite try to eat for nutrional reasons.
Take care of yourself.
Be well soon!0
