Maintenance for a Week

I've been running at least 4 days/week now (minimum 2 miles each run). I'm so hungry all the time! The scale hasn't budged either.

Is it wise to just take a week and eat at maintenance while my body is getting used to extra physical activity? Plus my metabolism may need a rev-up. And I'm just sooo sick of dieting, I need a break from freaking out about eating low-cal and how the scale reacts.

What do you guys think? I should probably mention I'm on my last 10-15 lbs. I want to lose it rapidly of course, but I'm at a loss. Help??

A good way to work your body out of a plateau is to up your caloric intake a bit for a week or two, then go back down.
  • How many cals do you eat normally?

Of course eating at maintenance for a week won't hurt! But maybe if you're hungry all the time, you should be eating more :)

I try to stick around 1300, but I go over a few days a week (usually to 1400-1500).
