I know someone has posted something similair in the past but I can't find it, when you change up your workout and have sore muscles as a result, does it cause weight gain at first? How long does it take for your body to adjust to finally start losing?

About a week. You might want to take advil about one hour before you workout.0

It's all water though!0

Yep - when I'm hurting from a workout, I always see a small gain. Your muscles are holding onto water to help repair the damage of tearing them down in the workout.0

Soreness = inflammation = fluid retention = temporary weight gain.0

"If you experience a significant weight gain (exceeding 5 pounds) which does not begin to decrease rapidly after the second week, guess what it is??? I’ll give you one hint… you put it in your mouth and chew it. You know it! You’re food (or calorie laden beverages). Newsflash friends.. exercise doesn’t make you gain weight. Consuming more food than you burn makes you gain weight!
So if after two weeks you are not losing weight, have gained weight that’s not coming off, it’s time to take a close and honest look at your food intake."0 -
