I absolutely love step aerobics, but only if it has challenging choreography.

I purchased Amy Bento's Advanced Step Challenge, and I really love it, but it is really really advanced. I think I should have started with intermediate.

Does anyone have any reccomendations?

I love me some step aerobics!

My favorites are oldies, but goodies. All of them have several variations demonstrated so that they can be used for intermediate or advanced stepping (none of them are for beginners). None of them are "dance-y".

Gilad's Step Aerobics - - - easily my all-time fave. Warm-up, 40 minutes on the step, abs, then cool-down. So fun and Gilad is encouraging you to "propel" and do some high impact moves, but you don't have to.

Gilad's Step and Tone Workout - - - less challenging foot work, but it's done holding hand weights during the step section. Warm up, 30 minutes of step with hand weights, lower body section of squats and lunges, abs, then cool-down.

Gin Miller Simply Step Classic Step - - - a grueling 51 minutes on the step. :-o It's fun though.

I think the first and the third I listed are available at Collage Video, but the Step and Tone is available at Gilad's Bodies In Motion website. Try to look past the outdated clothing on Gilad's videos if you can!
