Help picking out shoes for Insanity

Hello to everyone!
My friend and I started on month 2 of Insanity today, and I'm seeing even more that I need a better pair of shoes.
I have 3 pairs of tennis shoes right now, Shox, another pair of Nikes, and a pair of NB that I've never liked. Not sure what style the other two are.
Can anyone recommend a good pair of shoes for the Insanity work out? Thanks all!!

I had the same problem. Done alot of research and asked around. I chose the Nike Free Tr Fit 2. I love them!!0

Did your feet hurt less with them? I'm getting to where my feet feel burnt before my body gets tired. Plus with all the jumping..0

I wear Nike Air Max and liked them pretty well with Insanity- I think with all the jumping and whatnot the feet are just going to hurt a little! But perhaps not, I may just be prone to sore feet!0

i use my new balance minimus shoes, or do it barefoot on the carpet or mats. don't get shoes with a lot of padding (or a lot of heel drop)- you are setting yourself up for a rolled ankle with all the side to side movements. usually a pair of crosstrainers will also be supportive enough for the side to side movements- or any of the nike free series as mentioned above.0

I use Nike Free also but not for Insanity, but lots of moves like it. It took a couple times getting used to them but i stopped having sore feet and calves after that. I love them. I think they are Free training ones.0
