30 Day Shred....is it safe to do daily??

I did a search on the 30DS and it seems as though most of you do it daily. I just did day 1 yesterday and had planned a rest day for today but now I'm wonding if I'm suppose to be doing it every day.
Since there is some weight lifting components to the workout, I thought you were suppose to rest those muscles for a day and not work them again so quickly.....
Am I suppose to be doing the next routine?
Thanks!!!

Yes you can safely do it daily, but if you feel you need a rest day, then take it. Yes, you are using weights, but you are mostly doing cardio.0

Depends on how you feel. Some people do it for 30 days straight, but Jillian has been quoted as saying she never intended it to be done without rest days and was surprised that people were pushing through for the whole 30 days!
You could do every other day and still see results, especially if you get some cardio in on the in between days - take a good 30 minute walk or something. If you feel up to it, you can do it several days in a row, but Jillian usually recommends at least one rest day per week in her more recent DVDs.
When I did 30DS, I usually did it 3 or 4 days per week, and I still saw results.0 -
Great, thanks for the replies!!! My arms can definitely feel yesterday's workout so I was thinking a rest day would be good.
I'm sure as I progress, it will be easier to do multiple days in a row but don't want to rish pushing too hard too fast!

People have done it 30 days straight but I don't think most people do. I did it M-Sat and rested on Sunday. The group I was in did it M/T, cardio W, Th/F, cardio Sat, rest Sun. It's up to you but from what I could tell Jillian did not intend for it to be 7 days a week.0
