do you mean one of those ab belts that send a current through your abs to make them contract?

sweat doesn't mean fat loss, it means water loss.

Is there a particular reason that you are wearing one?

Sweating doesn't mean you're burning fat. It's just dehydrating you.

I've been wearing one to zumba for four weeks now. I took a picture at the start of my weight loss journey and one this week, you can see a noticeable difference. I like it!!!!

I use it when I do plyometrics or ab/core workouts. It does make you sweat like crazy but I've never ever noticed that my waist slimmed down because of it. I wear it because I have lower back problems and it helps keep my core tight which has prevented excess pain.

I need to get a new one. I must've lost it the last time I moved. :( They do work! I used to work out twice a day for at least an hour and I used it everytime. I seen a huge difference using it compared to not using it now. It's just water weight your losing, but that's good too.

Even if you drink a ton of water after sweating? I thought sweating was good for you?

Yes! I have one. It's great!...for my back pain which is why I got it. As for losing weight I'm going to go with no. If you depend on something else to do all the work to strengthen your core well you're not using your muscles. You stop using your muscles and you can garantee a flabby belly. I'd say sitting up straight with your own strength does better good then this belt.

Um no I wouldn't call dehydrating your body necessarily a good thing

What? I didn't say it's not good to sweat. I said it's not making you lose fat, no matter how much water you drink.

Sweating is a natural body process, but doing it more than natural is not going to give you any added benefits. The only benefit is if you have to make weight for something.
