So i've been losing weight steadily eaiting the 1200 calories, but i've only hit 1200 or gone over maybe 3 days in the 38 days ive been doing this.....I took another forumes advice and foudn out what my TDEE is, subtracted 20% and it says i need to be eating 1516 calories a day.
I find it hard enough eating 1200 a day, i get full with these calories! Should I just suck it up and start eating what i just calculated?

yes. It isn't hard, at all, to eat 1200 calories.0 -

Yes. It's based on your activity level too. So, when you do more than you're usual, you'll be given more calories to eat.0 -
if you eat less than your body needs, you wont be losing the weight that you want (aka from fat tissue), and it becomes an unhealthy diet. HOWEVER, if you arent hungry, dont eat more, but try to substitute the food you do eat with higher calorie, healthy foods (nuts and things)0

I just found out I should be eating a little over 1300 cals per day and I'm kind of at a loss. Now that I've gotten used to eating 1200 a day, I find it really hard to even eat 1200 let alone 1300+. I get stuffed easily now.0 -
thank you everyone, I went ahead and upped the calories in my diary. here goes nothin!0

thats exactly how i am! It may sound weird to some people, but i am perfectly happy eating those 1200 or less a day, i dont ever feel deprived or hungry. But if eating a few hundred more calories helps me lose weight how i'm supposed to rather than "starving"myself then i suppose i will try it....even if it is scary lol0 -

Your body gets used to eating less, so you become less and less hungry. Just add in some higher calorie foods to help get you to your goal - peanut butter, olive oil, nuts, cheese, etc. A little bit of those will help you get to your goal without feeling "stuffed". Your body will thank you for this.0 -
I'm the same way! XD0
