Stole this from Women's Health. It is about 80 calories.

    The Perfect Cocktail
    Ingredients:
    1.5 oz lime-flavored vodka
    1.5 oz light lemonade
    1.5 oz tonic water
    Juice of 1/4 lime

Directions: Fill a tall Collins glass with ice. Pour the first three ingredients over the ice. Squeeze the lime juice over the top and stir. Garnish with a wedge of lime.

You lost me. What was this thread about again?

    My thoughts exactly!

Good tips, but for me, the best thing is not to mix anything sweet at all. My favorite drink is vodka with soda and lemon juice. The trick is to put lots of lemon juice into your drink. It is very refreshing. I use 2 oz of Grey Goose. Yum!

This is soo awesome! Gin and tonic has been my drink all summer b/c it's fresh, tasty, and so low in calories. I will definitely have to try the Gin & seltzer!

Me Three! Drinking has always been my downfall when trying to lose and I'm getting really tired of vodka, club soda, and a splash of cranberry juice lol

I love that this was posted at 7:30 am (PST) ! My drink is vodka with sparkling water and juice of half a lemon. Sometimes I throw jalapenos in there. I don't like sweet drinks though so for most it's probably kind of too sour. :drinker:

  • Do you think you could make simple syrup with appends? That would help a lot I think.

    awesome, thank you! :)
  • A quick googling gave me my answer:

"It is easy to make a simple syrup with Splenda and water. You use 2 parts Splenda to 1 part water (example: 1 cup Splenda and 1/2 cup water). Heat the Splenda and water at a low temperature in a saucepan until fully dissolved and clear. Let cool. I use this for iced tea and smoothies. You don’t have to use much and it will blend smoothly into anything. Keep it in the fridge in a pourable container."
