Dear boys of my past:

Remember me? I was that scrawny boyish looking girl back then who was cast aside, probably for that very reason. I may be someone who crosses your minds in a "damn, what if..." kind of way, but rest assured, you are not on mine. I did not make these life altering changes to show you what you missed out on, rather I made them to be the best me I can be, just to prove to myself I could. I regret nothing. In fact, I thank you all. Things in life have to happen to pave a better way in life. I'm no longer that scrawny boyish looking little girl. I'm all grown up now and in the best shape of my life and only getting better. That makes ME happy. What you think about it? Well, that's no longer my concern. I do wish you all a healthy, happy life.

Sincerely,
a happier healthier Bry

    Bry, you are awesome.

I want to do one of these soon. I don't think I could get all of my thoughts together for one now, but put one in a blog soon.
  • I didn't want it to come off catty, because I'm not upset. I wanted it to be more of a thank you and I didn't get healthy as a revenge, like some people like to do. I selfishly did it all for me. Well, and my kids. If anything, this was meant to be light and funny.

As Mr . Perfect in a small town, I was chastised for always being a little overweight.

When I visited my hometown last while I was in shape even my family was speachless.

Absolutely awesome, shallow, and gratifying feeling getting to remove the one thing most held over my head.

aw, thanks. Some have actually said as much.... too little too late. I'm spoken for by someone who married me back when I still looked like "Skeletor". He married me then and stayed. Now he's super supportive of all my fitness dreams - biggest fan, too.
