An idea to drink enough water.

I just had a brilliant idea how to keep track of my water intake. I just filled up my 2 quart pitcher with water to the 2 quart line, which is 64 ounces, which is 8 cups. Fill it up in the morning, or anytime, and make it your goal to drink it all in 24 hours. (Not all at once of course!) Then you can see your progress. Keep it in the fridge for extra measure as I read that drinking cold water increases your cell metabolism for 20 minutes or so. Every bit helps so drink up! :drinker:

I work at a bar and what I do is fill up a pitcher (usually used for beer) with water and use a big boba straw to drink it. I usually drink about 4 of those a day which equals to about 24-27 cups of water! I just keep my water with me wherever I go and I'm so used to it now I don't even notice I drink as much as I do0

I have come up with a way to both get my water in and avoid drinking soda pop, one of those habits I want to at least modify, I won't drink a diet coke until I have six cups of water consumed. This helps both ways--if I drink six cups of water I am most of the way to my daily goal. Secondly, it delays drinking any soda pop until I have quite a bit of water in my system. I'm not thirsty and so I don't need to drink any pop.0
