School starts on Monday for Mobile, Alabama. Looking for ideas on healthy, quick, and kid friendly meals. I have found its much easier to eat healthy, if the whole family does.
Thanks in advance for any tips!

My kids love wraps...they are quick and easy to make in the a.m. or even in the evening. My kids also love fresh cut veggies.
I let them pick out their own water bottles this year, I let them have one unsweetened juice or milk for school then they drink water the rest of the day.
I also try to make a little extra at supper and give left overs for lunch.
Good luck!0 -

I make a pasta salad, based on a recipe by kiddie food writer Annabel Karmel. Its great, adults and kids love it for lunch.

My kids won't eat the tomatoes and green onions, so I've switched it out and put in one diced red pepper, and 1 diced mini cucumber, along with sweet corn, chopped turkey (or chicken) and diced mozza or cheddar.
It travels well too.0 -
I make wraps with turkey and cheese, use the turkey and wrap a slice of cheese inside it. Also stick with the unsweetened and no added sugar applesauce, fat free and sugar fee jello or pudding. Buy a good Thermos and put leftovers from the night before, or soup, homemade mac and cheese, also vegetable soup or stews. Buy gogurts those yogurt snacks in a tube and freeze, by lunch they defrost and are very good. I stick with 100% juice boxes or the horizon milks in the box. I add a feezer pack in the lunch box.0

Yummy baked chicken nuggets!
-organic chicken breast cutlets
-4C breadcrumbs (the best)
-milk
-olive oil
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut cutlets into nugget size that you prefer. Dip nuggets in bowl of milk (about 2 cups milk) before coating wet nuggets into breadcrumbs. Lightly coat cookie sheet with olive oil and place nuggets on cookie sheet. Pop them in the oven and cook for 20 min. Voila! yummm
Undressed salad:
- Organic baby spring mix
- GiaRusso Balsamic glaze
-Organic tomato
- Lemon juice
Slice tomatoes, and cut slices in 1/2. Salt slices and toss in salad. Sprinkle a decent amount of lemon juice and drizzle balsamic glaze. Tasty without all the calories of oil dressing!0 -
