I've just (this week) discovered a band called Teddybears. Don't be fooled by the name...
Their style is so varied, it's hard to put a genre to it. If you YouTube them, you'll find lots of their stuff. They have some tracks that I think would be brilliant for working out to.

I've started my own little A to Z challenge whilst at the gym where I have to listen an album by every artist on my iPod and if I skip one they get deleted. I'm currently only on B (Bad Religion), but it is reminding me of some awesome music that I haven't played for years. But I am looking forward to getting to the following

Prodigy The dirtchamber sessions (the best pre made mix tape ever recorded)
    Chemical brothers Exit planet dust
    Beastie Boys Paul's boutique
    Dust Junkies
    Foo fighters Wasting light
    Shed 7
    Street Sweeper Social Club
    Transplants
    Wildhearts PHUQ
    Fun lovin Criminals
    Fanboy slim Palookaville
    DJ Format
    Terrorvision Formaldehyde
Beastie Boys (again) Check your head

The Airborne Toxic Event - Innocence and All I Ever Wanted (These don't sound like your usual workout songs but they are my fave on my list. The musician and tempo of the instruments are so passionate they make you workout harder.)

Wolf Gang- The King And All His Men

    Nervo- We're All No One

    Matt & Kim- Daylight

Laroux: In for the Kill (Skrillex)

I second this. As well as anything by Breaking Benjamin. Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes is great for running and keeping cadence.
