Hello! 60 YO with 40 lbs to lose

I'm new to MFP but have been doing WW since January. Have lost about 45 lbs so far. I came here because my weight loss stalled when I joined a gym and increased my workouts from 30 mins 4 x per week to 60 mins 5 x per week with weight training 3 x per week. Trying to eat my NET calorie goal.

    Hi, I too am 60 with 40 lbs to lose. So far, I've lost 4, but I just started this MFP 2 weeks ago. The good thing about this tool is seeing our calorie consumption daily, so we have less denial about what we're eating. The other, obvious thing in your case, is that you're probably building muscle tissue, which weighs more than fat tissue. I know that's not going to make you feel great, but dang, you HAVE to be getting healthier with your workout commitment! Good luck!
