Does Truvia have Splenda's metallic aftertaste?

I'd like to try substituting it for sugar in a zucchini bread recipe. I'm subbing egg whites for whole eggs and applesauce for oil already. My mom is a die hard Spenda fan though and to me it always seems like after a bite/sip with something using Splenda, I feel like I'm gagging on a metal spoon
I was hoping Truvia would be different.
By the way, I guess some people think Equal has an aftertaste, but I don't. I love Equal, but don't think it could be used for baking, right? So if you're an Equal fan, would really love to hear your thoughts on Truvia.

I feel the same way about splenda I don't know how other people don't taste the chemical flavor.
I use Truvia and love it. Just check before baking with it, it is not a 1:1 ratio for measurement. So check their website.0
