400 calories on chocolate, popcorn, banana bread, a cookie, and a tbsp of peanut butter.
You can tell by the peanut butter that it was a binge.
It started with the popcorn (no butter, cuz im healthy like that.) But then mum got us all chocolate for the movie. Down hill from there.
Feeling totally bloated, though that's probably because I chugged a bunch of water afterward.
11:42pm at night. I work out too loud to burn it off. Pouring rain outside, can't go for a run.
I swear, did someone plan this?
Oh well, it was technically my cheat day. I mean, my cheat days are automatically designated for Saturday or Sunday, though I only go through with them on movie nights (tonight) or say if the whole family is over.
Anyway, if I were just to start fresh tomorrow, would I still lose weight in the long run? I don't want to work out extra. Eating less I can do however. I usually eat 1200-1500, so shall I stay on the 1200 side? Or should I just look at tomorrow as a new day?

If it's your cheat day, why are you stressing about it?
No, it won't hurt in the long run, if you are sticking to a plan...but for you to call it a binge, sounds like something isn't right.
Yesterday was my cheat day...I ate a 12" pizza for lunch...it was hella good...I weigh-in on Sunday, and I was still down 3 lbs over the week, but I stick to my plan during the week even if it means I'm a little hungry when I go to bed.0 -
I've gone over by that amount several times and it hasnt affected me at all in the long run. I've been losing weight consistently. You can't always avoid it, it's just life. Don't stress!0

400 calories is not a big deal. You can easily make up for it with a workout and eating a little less tomorrow. Remember, it's all about what you net over time! So chill and enjoy life0

There's nothing wrong with going over occasionally. The point is not to go over all the time. Plus your calorie goal, if you're using MFP's suggestion, is a deficit anyway. You probably only ate what would sustain your current weight rather than losing. 400 calories is barely a TENTH of a pound. (1 lb=3500 calories) Wake up in the morning and try again.0
