Cake Thursday Victory!!

Every Thursday we have 'Cake Thursday' at my College. We get cakes and sweets delivered to our common room, and I must admit I always indulge! Today, we had Mr. Kipling cakes, and their Battenburgs are my ultimate weakness!! Marzipan and cake! How much better can you get! So the cakes arrive at 10.30am and will stay there all day until we leave or until they get eaten! I resisted and resisted and resisted.. I almost caved trying to look up the calories in one of them, but I gave up and continued resisting. Once I went to collect my bags to leave College I had to walk past that tray one more time to leave. AND I RESISTED!!! Such a small step, but it made such a difference to my day!
