I love to make wraps for a quick meal, however I recently discovered that I am highly sensative to wheat. Not gluten, but just wheat. Does anyone have some ideas as replacments for whole grain/whole wheat tortillas? I am tried the corn tortillas and they are not great in wraps. I have also used romaine lettuce leaves. Is there a wrap that is wheat free made out there?

I don't know if I'm sensitive to wheat but I pretty much cut out 99% of it in my diet just to see if I felt better, I did :) I couldn't find a really good replacement wrap so when I am not using lettuce leaves I try and keep a pack of nori and wrap with that, only liike 10 cals

I know you said wheat, but any gluten free tortilla/wrap will be wheat free. There's some rice ones out there, for example. A friend of mine swears by them. I think they are inedible.

    Here's the Rudi's ones. I haven't tried these.

How are you with oats?? Here is a link to a recipe that I use to make my own. Really easy, only suggestion is to fold your wrap when warm to avoid breaking/tearing. I will keep them in the fridge and microwave them for a few seconds before making my meal....Hope this helps....

How about collard leaves? Sometimes I use romaine but collards are sturdier.
