anyone know how accurate the Wii fit board is as a scale? I don't have a scale, and not going to buy one for a couple of weeks. Just wondered if I was going to get a false reading from the Wii board.

Hi
My Wii board weighed me 1lb heavier than my digital scales so I trusted them.
As long as you keep it in the same place, you should see any weight loss/gain weekly.
Hope this helps!0 -
Hi Mamiskas, I use my Wii Fit board regularly and have just started to do some of the exercises. I find that it's just as good as the scales.
Take care, Vicky xx0 -
every digital scale will all probably say something different.. the most accurate scales are the sliding weight scales you mostly see at the Dr. office.0

Depends on the surface you place the board.
If it is a hard floor my board is about -1lb off
If it is on carpet it makes me nearly 12 pounds lighter.
I got the shock of my life when I realised that!!0
