A question for the ladies....

I have recently stepped up my exercise so that it really kicks my *kitten*. I have however noticed that within about 10 minutes of stopping the workout I get extremely bloated and get period like cramps. I keep hydrated when I exercise and am unsure what causes this. A quick google search seems to show it's quite a common problem, anyone else have this? Do you know what causes it?

Whatever it is, it isn't pleasant!0

That has never happened to me, but it could be what you are or are not eating prior? Sometimes if you work out on an empty stomach you can wind up having some stomach problems..0

That has happened to me, yeah. Could it be that maybe you're about to get you period or are ovulating? Some women feel ovulation cramps two weeks prior to getting their period. I would try to lower your sodium intake and see how you feel. Also, any caffeine, especially coffee, makes it worse for me, so maybe steer clear from caffeine.0
