Deficit / 1200 cal?

Okay so my question is since MFP set me at 1200 is this already setting me at a 500 or so deficit ? Or am I supposed to eat less then 1200? & I do excercise I bike ride 4 x a week for 90 minutes and do tae-Bo every night ...

It's already at a deficit. Eat ALL 1200 calories and at least 1/2 your exercise calories back. Otherwise your calories will be too low. Checkout what your BMR is and make sure your eating at least that. Click on tools to find it. Good luck!!!0

I would say start aiming for the 1200 calories and eating back at least part of your exercise calories (the reason I say part is b/c I think MFP is not too accurate at calculating calories burned) and then tailor your caloric intake to how well/poorly your body responds- I try to eat 1200 calories/day. period. I do not eat back my exercise calories- I found that if I do, my weight loss is very low (less than 1/2 lb/week).0
