So, it's not as dramatic as some of you other people (not yet), but, yesterday at American Eagle I bought a size 12 pant!

I came home and put them on for my mother and I said "the 14s fit better," and her response was: "Honey, it looks like the 14s would fall off of you." So, maybe it was something mental that I WAS a size 14, but she told me the 12s fit perfectly. For the record, bought them the size down because I'm hoping I'll be able to wear them through the fall, though apparently I was right to buy them anyways.

Feeling encouraged, this morning I decided to dig up some pants that were too small (i.e size 12s). All of them fit.

So far I've lost 9 pounds from my starting weight (and around 11 inches overall), and 25 pounds from my heaviest weight. At my heaviest I was 207, and a size 18 (though I refused to believe that, so I squeezed into 16s when I could). I am 5'1.

    Congrats! Can't see your pix, but I went to AE this weekend too and still can't get my booty into a 12 even though I can take my 14's off without undoing them. I cannot wait to go down a pantsize!

    Thanks! It's one of my favorites, I got it at a local consignment shop!
