Im looking for a good HRM under $100 just so I can get a more accurate calorie count for my exercising. Any help would be much appreciated. Or should I just go with the Fitbit instead?

I got a timex watch that has a HRM feature. It keeps track of the length of your workout, your heart rate and your %, as well as how many calories you burn. I got it for a little under $40. It works great!

Got my Polar FT4 on Amazon.com for $65, free shipping. And I LOVE it! Track calories, heart rate, time, time in zone, keeps records of each, can see calories burning or heart rate while exercising. Total motivator. I highly recommend it!
  • I used the Fitbit. Now I have the polar f7. I recommend you the polar any style as soon it tells you how many calories are you burning and it comes with the strap. I bought mine on ebay for 60 or so...

I love my Polar FT4. It's one of the cheaper ones because it is more simple but it counts calories burned, which is what I need it for so it's perfect for me!

I have a Polar FT4 and love it! You can get it for $65 on Amazon. It counts calories and heart rate and you can see if you are within your range. It was super easy to set up and is super easy to use. I wear the chest strap all day usually and I don't even notice it!

I wear a Mio Motiva Petite. Think I paid $75 at Hibbett's for it. Best of luck to you!

Just tells you how many calories burned. It keeps training data. I bought my polar FT7 in April, I work out just about everyday and it still is storing the info. It also tracks average heart rate, highest and lowest heart rate during workout.

Its perfect for what I want it for. Love it!

I was thinking of getting a FitBit and a FT7. Is that overkill? My thinking was to wear the fitbit while at work and when I get home and exercise wear the FT7. HAHAHA this sounds crazy but I have a really nice watch and dont want to give it up for daily use of the FT7 at work haha

I have this one too and I also love it, easy to read and program.

I think you should do what makes you happy! I've read on a lot of these posts where people have both and love it! I say if you have the resources go for it:)

I have the Polar FT4. Not a lot of bells and whistle, but it tracks HR, your zone, and calories burned. It will keep a log for you.

My concern with the Fitbit is that are you able to put your height/weight/age in to it so that it calculates calories accurately?
