OP, I think you should clarify that the activity level should include exercise (unlike MFP which only includes normal daily activity). This may be why a few people have come up with very low numbers.
    you're right I should've clarified that thanks!

So to maintain I need to eat 1,401.35. If I subtract 500 I need to eat 901.35. :( Still going to eat my 1200-1300 a day but that explais why I've been losing so slowly.

Unless you are 18, 100 lbs and 5' tall, I don't think you did it correctly. Don't forget to add in the activity multiplier.

AND for everryone else, this number would then INCLUDE your exercise so you wouldn't eat that.

This can't be right. It puts me to lose weight at eating 851 calories. I would pass out. Will stick with my 1200 and eat back my exercise calories like I have been doing.

    Hmm

    According to this formula:

    BMR - 1908
    TDEE - 2623

    -750 (1.5 a week like I put on MFP) = 1873

    MFP Gave me 1510

So I guess if it thinks lightly active burns 360 calories a day (which makes sense) this would be correct.

    Thanks OP!

Mine came out to within 80 calories of what MFP does....and thanks. It's the first time I've bothered to do the calculations. Easy.

Oh I just saw where I completely missed a step - I didn't do the xheight in inches. Ok - Now I feel better. I had my beachbody coach figure mine for me - good think - I guess I'm not good at math formulas!
