too much protein a bad thing?

My daily goal is 48 for Protein... it's only lunch time and I'm already at 65...is this a bad thing? will this defeat my purpose?

I am doing a nutrition class and she told us that the goal on here for protein was really low. Mine is 130 a day !!0
