Need thoughts...Insanity/30 days shred

I'm going to be finishing Insanity in two weeks and plan on doing it again. I would, however, like to do something else in between. What are your thoughts about going from Insanity to 30 Day shred and then back to Insanity again? Is 30 day shred even worth it? I want something that will continue to keep me in shape like Insanity, but not as intense. Also, does 30 day shred have a rest day?

I would try Ripped in 30 because its more challenging but not as challenging as Insanity from what i hear. With ripped in 30 you can choose to workout 5-6 days a week. Im currently on week 3 of ripped in 30 and alls i say is Jillian is brutal and i love/hate her but ive lost alot of inches since starting!0

30 DS is a great workout-not anywhere near as intense as Insanity. I have done both-and you will probably find 30 DS easy
I use Jillians online program at www.jillianmichaels.com there is a 30 day free trail-and its a step up from 30 DS-I love it0 -
I really didn't like 30 Day Shred, and I think it will feel much too easy for you after doing Insanity. I do really like Ripped in 30 though!0

So you think ripped in 30 would be a better fit? I loved Insanity and would start it over again right away but feel like I need to change it up a bit. I also don't want to buy Asylum yet.0

I'm in month 2 of Insanity (almost done!), and was feeling a bit burnt out from it last week, so I did Ripped in 30 two days in lieu of Insanity. I did level 1 one day and level 3 another day. I was worried it would be too easy after Insanity, but it is not. I was sweating buckets. Also, like anything else, you get out of it what you put into it. In my opinion, it is fairly similar to Insanity, so if you like Insanity I think you will like Ripped in 30. However, be aware that the Ripped in 30 workouts are only about 25 minutes long each. You could do two levels in a row if you want a longer, more Insanity like workout.0

Thank you! I never thought I'd make it through the first week, but here I am, almost finished. I had my third c-section less than five months ago and I thought I would never get back into shape. I proved myself wrong. . Thank you everyone. I might just do a recovery week of Insanity and then start month 1 again. After round 2 of insanity, I might try Insanity Asylum. I don't have more than one hour a day to spend on a workout.0

I'm in the 3rd week of month 2, and am wondering where to go from here also! My toddler was missing Jillian, lol, so I actually put 30DS on last night and did a round of level 1 (I did Insanity in the AM) - and it WAS easy. I used to burn over 300cal doing that, this time I barely broke a sweat and only burned 188cal. I'm thinking of mixing No More Trouble Zones for some toning and picking and choosing Insanity workouts or Burn Fat Boost Metabolism to mix in throughout the week for a good mix of strength and cardio, then going back for round two of Insanity in a month or so. Great job finishing!0
