I'm new here, just started last Wednesday. I don't see how I can loose weight eating so much!! Does anyone know how they determine how many carbs/protein you need? Everything I've read had stressed high protein, low carbs. This is the opposite here. Has anyone had success eating more carbs than protein?? I don't think I'm going to be happy with my first weigh in!

You dont have to eat more carbs if you dont want to. Carbs give you the energy to do the workouts. So since your are just starting they are presuming that you need the energy to boost yourself up off the couch to get to the gym or out for a walk or whatever it may be. You can manually change the amount of carbs, protein and fat you intake if you wish. I was eating protein for breakfast daily and switched mine around a little in the goals section manually. You enter the % and they will keep you under your calories.0
