What we(well I and another co-worker) know:

-Boss is not coming back from medical leave
-We don't know who is going to replace her
-Tons of change going on within company
-One other person who knows, is upset he's not the one replacing her!


So what does todays 30 minute meeting bring?

    sometimes when they throw meetings at my job, it winds up being a celebration for someone. I work at a pretty cool company. Some one had been with the company for 35 years and they did a big cake and a small rated-pg type of roast. We all thought it had to do with upcoming projects. The person that was being celebrated had NOOO idea, along with about 80% of the staff.

    who knows what will happen at yours...

    Last time I had one of those meetings? They shut down an entire branch and moved all the work to our office. O_o Keep us updated! And hopefully the cake is not a lie?

    My last job I worked at we all had a team meeting out in the shop and it was to tell all of us that we were having a layoff from our jobs. I got laid off and my mother who had been with the company for 16 years got laid off. But I think in the long run it was worth it. We just both finished up college and are possibly going back for more classes.

    But hopefully it will be much better news for you!!
