So my daughter is almost a year old.. and I still look like I'm 6 months pregnant.

I've lost several inches everywhere else around my body, everything is shrinking but my belly. My husband a I both have had several "Congrats!" and "Are you expecting again?"s because I still look severely pregnant. It's quite embarrassing. I lost 10 lbs before MFP and an additional 4 since i joined.. And I'm at a lower weight now than I ever was before I got pregnant.. But I just can't get my baby bump to go away.

So to all the moms.. Did you struggle with losing your baby bump and if so how did you get rid of it?

I'm currently losing weight from baby number 2, and I know from past experience the belly is absolutely the last thing to go for me! I lose jiggle from everywhere else first, then right when I get close to my goal weight my stomach starts to get a little smaller and flatter. I retain a little wobble there, but I don't mind. I think a sensible diet, plenty of water and pushing a stroller up steep hills was the secret for me. Good luck!

My daughter will be 5 in Feb and i still have the baby pouch! The first yr after i had her i lost most of the baby weight doing Turbo Jam and was at the same weight i was at before i was pregnant but still have not gotten rid of the pouch! Its very frustrating! I started Ripped in 30 and that has helped me lose inches and my pouch is finally start to get a little smaller so maybe try that? I think its how she does the strength, cardio and abs and the weights help alot too! Im on day 3 week 3 of it and its tough but it def is helping alot in the tummy and love handle area! Good Luck! I was very discouraged that i would never have a flat belly again and get rid of the pouch but theres alot of moms on here that have posted pics and now have rock hard abs now so i know its possible!
  • Thanks ladies :) As soon as my sister goes back to school (Which will be next week) I'm going to start back on my 30 DS video. I'm sure it will help :) Hoping for good results to share with you all!
