So, my darling husband snuck a kit kat chunky into my bag this morning.

so now that its nearly afternoon tea time (in the UK) i have a dilema.
Kitkat (247 cals) VS banana (~100 cals)
:brokenheart:

We're going out for dinner this evening and I had planned 600 cals for that, but we don't know what we will be served.

so which should i choose??

(i really wish there were voting buttons)

Isn't it obvious? The banana! You're indulging tonight, so make smart choices today!

If your craving chocolate, you could always just eat one or two pieces to cut the calories in half.

everytime i try that i fail

ok, byt public consensus will hide kitkat in the back of the bottom draw (for emergency rations on some other day)
and will enjoy healthy potasium filled banana
    :)

Eat the Kit Kat and go for a 30-minute power walk before dinner. Win-win!

if i could excersise i would,
but my knees are in agony today, so i need to rest them
    :(
  • THAT KITKAT WILL TAUNT YOU EVERYDAY UNTIL YOU EAT IT!!!

I would eat the banana and half the kit kat and give the rest of the kit kat away!! or if you're feeling very guilty about it-give the whole kit kat away because you know its going to be calling your name in that bottom drawer

Eat the banana for sure! Are you craving chocolate and is it worth it to you to eat the Kit Kat? I know they're yummy so it's tough. I'd say eat the banana and if you're really wanting the Kit Kat have one piece and share the rest with someone else.
  • I would have the kit kat but that's just me :)

Seriously though I would weigh up a few things

    - will I enjoy it?
-would I enjoy it more another time?
    -can I afford the calories?
    - will I feel bad after eating it?

Then I make my decision. Personally I love chocolate and eat it quite a lot if I can fit it in my calories!

Kitkat? What kitkat? There isn't a kitkat in your bag, just a taasty banana, full of energy and it will make you lighter!

I bet if you took half the kit kat and half the banana and pressed the kit kat into the banana, it'd be pretty tasty

Definitely banana. But if you can control yourself, have the banana and just one part of the Kit Kat.

I have kit kats and bananas at home. Now, I'm dreaming of tonight, when I will have a kit kat melted into a banana.
  • Choose the banana! I had the exact same dilemma yesterday....chocolate vs. banana. The banana WON!!

the whole idea of having half of each and combing them is AWESOME- best of both worlds. But have the banana- you wont regret it

    great with some ice cream.

actually great trick i learnt when i lived in florida, take some bananas and peel them, 4 or 6 or 8 or whatever and freeze them.

Take the frozen bananas and put them through a juicer or blender (juicer is better) best banana ice cream you will ever taste, i like to melt some maltesers in the micro to serve with it ;-)

Bananas only have a period of about 15 minutes when they are ripe enough to eat but not too ripe -- be economical and eat the banana.

Give the kit kat back to your husband and ask him not to do that.

Give the Kit Kat to one of your co-workers and eat the banana. If you're anything like me, sticking it in a drawer is only going to drive you nuts until you eat it. GIVE IT AWAY!!!

    Good luck, keep us posted!
