Late night eating

Anybody else out there struggle with waking up in the middle of the night and having to eat to fall back asleep. I have struggled with this my entire life. Seems to make no difference whether or not I have eaten properly that day. Its as if I am a ZOMBIE that raids the kitchen when I know I shouldnt!!!!!

I am struggling with that very thing. I eat great all day then ruin it at night. Last night I was strong and resisted. Feel free to ad me as a friend. We can support each other through this!

IMHO - It depends on what kind of snack you're eating. Eating a huge piece of cake is not a good idea, but eating a piece of fruit and maybe some protein isn't a bad idea.

I'm convinced that's why I lost so much weight (30 lbs) when I was recuperating from 2 knee replacement surgeries - the pain was waking me up in the middle of the night so I'd get up for an hour or so with some ice packs and wait for the pain meds catch up to me, and have a healthy snack. I think it was actually keeping my metabolism fired up, along with all the energy it was taking to heal.
