Down over 8 inches in 2 months!!

Measurement day was succeful!! down over 8 inches in two months - although my weight is only down 3 lbs!! All that working out & heathly eating paid off!!

SW:160 (as on Jan 2012)
CW:135
GW: was 135 - now 130:blushing:

Just wanted to encourage others to keep up the fantastic work, and not to always worry about the number on the scale.

Here are my measurements for comparison:

Body @ 6/21/12 @ 8/22/12 decreased

Chest was: 37.75 , now: 36 , decreased (1.75) in.
Waist was: 31.75 , now: 29 , decreased (2.7) in.
Hips was: 39.25 , now: 37.5 , decreased (1.75) in.
Thighs was: 22 , now:19.5 , decreased (2.5) in.

    I was on a mission to train for an upcoming triathlon altough I wasn't a runner, swimmer or biker!! I took swimming classes once a week from Apr- Jul and started the C3k5 (couch to 5K) app to learn to run a 5k! I also enjoy doing Kickboxing and weight training. I worked out almost daily, and in the last month sometimes did two workouts in a day. Like a swim b/f work and kickbox class at lunch. and on Sunday's the past month - I swam and than jog or rode my bike.
    I lost the first 16lbs with in 5 months, and the remaining 9 the last 3 months. - 3 lbs a month - but I have gain so much lean muscle that's why it's just not about the scale.
